'unplug ... engage'
We often talk about the importance of being present, being in the ‘now’. This state of being can prove most challenging for ones as they move towards self actualization. There are many distractions that we can allow to take us out of the now. This may be internally within self through our thoughts, feelings and egoic activity and externally through our daily activities and interacting with others. If we are not in the present we miss incredible opportunities, moments pass by and the gift within them is often not taken. If we are present, if we are in alignment with Source and if we follow our heart we will experience wondrous communions not only with self but with others.
I experienced such an opportunity the other evening whilst traveling home on the train. My daily experience is quite isolated, working from home there is not often the chance to experience what main stream society is ‘doing’. Recently it has been necessary for me to travel into the city to attend training. This is an hour journey each way, giving me exposure to many ones and a chance to observe society in a way not done before. I must say the experience has been enlightening.
